Sisters Bea and Evie struggle to make ends meet and run a successful business in a time when women entrepreneurs were few and far between. With award winning costumer Joan Wadge on board, the House of Eliott series convinced viewers that hats are worth buying and an elegant coat can make anyone look fantastic.
24 Berkeley Square - This Georgian style building was the primary exterior location for the House of Eliott and is one of the few on this block that wasn’t damaged in the Bristol Blitz of WWII. Nearby is the boutique style Berkeley Square Hotel at number 15.
